Having Love Affair

It's with the beach.
I love it.
And I'm going this week.
It's more than a get away. It's a passion that I can't explain.
My friend asked me last week if I thought Richard and I would consider retiring or moving to Clearwater. "No," I said, "I have too much of a desire to be here with family. But I love being there." So, we won't move to Florida, but I love our home there. I love the white, rock & shell free sand. I love the sea breeze, watching the dolphins swim by and the pelicans fishing. I love watching the waves from under the beach umbrella. I love the sound the waves make as they crash on the shore. I love going out into the water and jumping the waves, and I love looking for shells. I love taking long walks down the shore line. Then I love watching the day end as the sun creates a myriad of dancing colors across the sky when it says, "Good Night."
So, I love it.
And I'm going there this week.

I thought I'd share pictures of Clearwater with you: (thank you, google)

This one is at Caladesi Island. It's great for shelling.

Pier 60, at "MY" beach. Sunsets are fabulous!

The umbrellas have been replaced with sun huts. I love sun huts, too.

Richard is already there. It was 79 sunny degrees today.

I love the beach.
